The National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation (NOTTO) expressed gratitude to the couple for their pledge during the ongoing organ donation month of July. Riteish stated, "There is no greater gift to someone than 'The Gift Of Life,'" while Genelia added, "We have pledged to donate our organs and for us there's no better gift than the gift of life."

NOTTO took to social media to thank the Bollywood star couple, stating that their gesture would inspire others to support organ donation. The post read, "Thanks to Riteish Deshmukh & Genelia, the Bollywood star couple, for pledging to donate their organs during the ongoing organ donation month of July. Their gesture will motivate others also to connect with the noble cause." On the professional front, Riteish is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film 'Kakuda,' where he stars alongside Sonakshi Sinha and Saqib Saleem. The film is set to premiere on ZEE5 on July 12.
